Atomos Releases Branded Cfast 1.0 Cards & Bundles For Ninja Star

June 7, 20140 Comments

Atomos today at Cine Gear Expo chatted with newshooter.com about a new 100Mbps CFast 1.0 card that hey are making and selling for the Ninja Star recorder. ProRes requires 80 Mbps and the Atomos CFast 1.0 cards delivers 100 Mbps just enough for HD. This makes those CFast 1.0 cards less expensive than the newer 2.0 versions. Atomos - Ninja Star_aThe Atomos branded 64GB CFast 1.0 card will cost $160. Or you can purchase a bundle with two 64GB cards & a Atomos USB 3.0 CFast 1.0/2.0 card reader for $300 US. That’s a good deal and you will want more than one card and USB 3.0 card reader anyway.

Atomos is also making a coiled micro HDMI cables with both ends being micro HDMI because they say nobody is making them. Good thing they figured this out. Pricing is $20 to $30 depending on length.
