Balboa Park With The AF-100

Shot this over two days. Spent about three hours total at Balboa Park in San Diego. Wanted to test out the Panasonic AF-100 in low light situations and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Graded in Final Cut Pro with 3 way Color Correction

Lens Used:
Lumix 14mm, 20mm
Nikon 85mm, 50mm,
Canon 70-200 f4

    Hi Erik,
The footage looks beautiful. I’m curious about your scene file settings. I just got my AF100 and my footage seems a bit noisy. I was wondering if you had to dial the settings in to find what is optimal for you. What settings are you happy with these days?

Thanks Sean. Here is the settings I use that gives a nice balance for me.
      operation: film cam
24p for personal projects. 30p for broadcast. Conforming to 29.97 is a pain in the #&@*
      Gamma: Cine-Like V
      Matrix: NORM2
      detail -4
      v detail -5
      detail coring +2
      chroma -4
      DRS: off
      skin tone dtl: off

      other settings at 0
I find the AF-100 to be really clean. In fact I ride the ISO a lot and haven’t been disappointed. Let me know how these settings work for you.
