GH3 Rumored Specifications
I don’t like rumors but this one caught my eye from 43Rumors.com. I’ve just reviewed the new Panasonic Lumix G X Vario 12-35 F2.8 on the AF-100 and I love it on my GH2 as well. The GH2 is due for an update and seeing the direction Panasonic is going with high quality optics these specs seem realistic.

To be honest I’m feeling tempted by this one after seeing the amazing results achieve by the test film Panasonic produced with Bruce Logan and Philip Bloom, among others. I’m really curious to watch more of this camera. It looks fantastic in what is capable of doing.
But regarding the AF100, many of people say the 1080p images is virtually the same as the 720p, with no visible difference 🙁 My question to you, since you’ve used a lot, is if that’s true, because it would be a big shame… I know it resolves less lines and has a lower pixel relation than, say, the FS100 or Canon C300 and BMC and C100 (apparently, they are not out yet), but does the AF100 really has that quirk?
By the way, when will you post the new Lumix review? I saw the footage you took with it, and seems promising… can’t wait to hear your user experience opinion.
Best regards.
