New GoPro Hero3+ Pre Orders start October 1st
GoPro has a couple new action cameras and they will be available on October 1st. for preorder. I feel like the Hero3 just came out! Take a look at the specs and the description to see if you think you this is a worthy update. The Black Edition shoots 4Kp video at 15 fps and 2.7kp at 30 fps. Not bad. 9 fps away from 24p. When they don’t state them you have to wonder. The action camera market is starting to heat up with a few other companies namely Sony entering the market so GoPro has to stay fresh and they certainly have the small size down! Bad for the cage makers because the camera is 20% smaller so back to the CAD software and redesign a new cage for the Hero3+. GoPro also has some nice new accessories to go with it. Check them out at B&H, Adorama and Amazon.com

Funny how the Black edition is still silver – kinda wish they’d play around with the colors sometime. Considering they play with everything else! Good overview – thanks for putting this up!
