AJA Enters The Camera Biz with CION 4K Camera

This one just popped out! I dont know a whole lot about it yet but tomorrow it will be huge news at NAB. I will definitely check it out and update this post. Below is what I have heard and sorry it’s not much.

• 4K
• Global Shutter
• Looks like a swappable PL mount
• high frame rates
• ProRes
• Thunderbolt
• Priced around $9000

Super thin on info but very interesting. Aja makes great products and it does seem to make sense that they are entering the camera market. Lets just hope it’s a complete camera when it does ship.
