$200 Instant Rebate On Panasonic GH4 Plus Double The Warrenty
The GH4 just got a little more affordable and I think it was a great bargain to begin with. Most major retailers have a $200 instant rebate plus double your warranty! Purchase between 11/23 and 12/27 and Panasonic will double the span of your warranty B&H is also throwing in a $50 gift card.

As I am an EVENT Videographer, I bought the GH3 to FLY on 6 or 8 prop drones. With the GH4 now available, I would be tempted…great price….to buy the GH4 and use both in multi camera shoots. The PROBLEM for me is the manual ZOOM. It would be bouncy….jerking…uneven when you had to zoom.
Is there a solution of motorized zoom for HDSLR cameras such as the GH4 ?
I’m sure if there is, it costs 2x what the GH4 is selling for. Anyone know or suggest a motorized ZOOM solution ?
Zacuto has a zoom grip coming out soon. I’m sure it won’t be inexpensive but it will be great. The Canon 24-105 would work well.
OK….2 suggestions on Manual Zoom for HDSLR cameras…..I’ll check out the Canon and wait for the Zucato. For me. The option for me is to buy 2 new Sony Video cameras. I would be touching about $8k for the two cameras. So I will be interested in what these mechanical Zooms do for the GH3 & 4…..and buy a lens for the GH4….and 2 ZOOM controls….and see what the pricing is.
Of course, it would include all the support equipment as this would be a change from camcorders to SLR…..shotgun mic…….and Panasonic RP-SDUC64GAK……or something similar.
All things to consider once the price tag for the Zucato appears. Anyone know the range of the pricing for it ?
