Zacuto Gratical X With A La Carte Features Now Available
For those that found the Gratical HD out of their price range (Yes that’s me too) Zacuto has introduced a new a la carte version. The Gratical X. This new EVF is basically the same as the HD model only with limited software tools pre-installed. Maybe you don’t need every tool so this way you can buy what you need and save a few bucks. Some folks feel they don’t know when a tool will be needed so picking only a few might not work so well. I understand this but first and foremost the EVF alone is serving a huge part that I need. Especially shooting outside. I dont have a high bright and even if I did an EVF is so much better at critical focus. Another plus is how the EVF can be used on any camera.
The Gratical X EVF will retail for $1650. will need to be activated and software features will need to be purchased at Zacuto.com/Gratical-registration. Zacuto will be shipping an activation card with the Gratical X so you will be aware of the steps required to activate.

I thought the Gratical X would be much more appealing for those that can’t afford the Gratical HD. For exemple, I would choose the #2 bundle with the Full lut option and audio meters…total: 1650+700+200+85 = 2635$. Still a very high price. I think I will wait for the Gratical LT.
