Panasonic Teases a New “Mobile Cinema” Varicam Release
It’s beginning to look a lot like NAB 2016 time!
“Mobile cinema acquisition is about to change… forever. Join us for the unveiling of the newest addition to the Panasonic VariCam lineup of cinema cameras.”
Panasonic has some news about a new “mobile cinema camera” on February 10th. If you want to fund out first hand you can join the event by RSVP here
What this camera could be is a competitor to the FS5, C100 MKII or URSA Mini 4.6K, or the higher priced FS7, C300 MKII, Red Weapon.
What I think it is is a non modular Varicam that will be the size of say an AF-100 or a Alexa Mini.
We shall soon find out Wednesday, February 10th — 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the DGA Theater — 7920 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90046
