Matthews Grip Takes the “Arm” to a New Level with the Infinity Arm
Check out the Infinity Arm and KarriCart demo from NAB. I did several Facebook Livestreams at NAB this year.
We have all used an arm of some kind and as useful as they are the early models had some pretty bad flaws.
Designer Sage Seb came up with the Infinity Arm and started a Kickstarter campaign for it. Matthews Grip liked the idea so much they partnered with Sage to take it to the next level. This new version is a beast and can hold up to 15 pounds! Yep that is easily a cinema camera.
Unique to the Infinity Arm is the ability to get different mounting options. The end has a ball receiver that locks so you you can add a different type of accessory for your needs. Great idea! How many times does that 1/4 20 accessories come unscrewed on your arm? I have that issue a lot. Not wit the Infinity Arm. The Infinity arm retails for $330 and should be available soon.
