The GoPro Karma is back on sale but not in huge supply yet. GoPro has the Karma Drone available for purchase direct from them and in some retail outlets as of today.
The reason for the recall was due to a lose in power while in flight causing the drone to crash to the ground. GoPro has isolated the problem with a change in the battery clasp mechanism.
DJI’s Mavic has been a huge success in the small pack-able go anywhere drone segment that the Karma was supposed to dominate in up until the the Mavic and the recall hit.
I had a bad experience with the Karma Grip. It died on me in a matter of days. I decided to not get a replacement and also returned the HERO5.
So now with the Karma Drone back on the market with no new features and a fix plus one more bundle option is this a drone that you would buy?
