Canon Offers C100 With Dual Pixel CMOS AF Preinstalled With Lens Bundles

It looks like Canon changed their minds about not selling a retail Cinema EOS camera with the Dual Pixel CMOS AF Technology pre installed. Today Canon announced several bundles with killer Canon lenses and the C100 with upgrade and no lens. Check out the offerings below. This is not a April fools joke either. Canon also has a $2K instant rebate on the EOS 1DC bringing that camera to $9999.

Canon is now making available the C100 with the Dual Pixel AF pre installed and 0% 24 month lease financing is back.  You can order it the following configurations.

  1. C100 with the Dual Pixal CMOS AF upgrade pre installed for $5499
  2. C100 with the Dual Pixal CMOS AF and the 18-135 mm EF-S lens for $5699
  3. C100 with the Dual Pixal CMOS AF and the 24-105mm f4.0L IS lens for $5999
  4. C100 with the Dual Pixal CMOS AF and the 16-35mm 2.8L II, 24-70mm 2.8L II, and the 70-200mm 2.8L IS II lenses for $9999.00 – the triple lens kit! (about $2000 in savings)

#4 is very impressive if you can swing it or need the best in breed Canon L. With those three lenses you are set. I’m still waiting to get the update because I’m using my camera right now and can’t send it in. After NAB hopefully. From what I have seen the update is worth it.
