I’m updating mine now and will update this post after I play around. The first attempt didn’t work so I’m running the update again.

Here it is!

One thing thats strange and I don’t think it’s me but the touch sensitivity has increased a lot. I have to hold the Shogun with my other hand because I have to push much harder on the function buttons. Let me know if i’m crazy or not! 😀

UPDATE: January 27th.

Seems v6.1 wasn’t ready for prime time because Atomos has released another update. V 6.11

I dont know if this update fixes the issue I was experiencing with having to press really hard on the targets to get the item to work. Will update tonight and report back.

  1. That’s nice they finally added playback. But the whole unit still seems a little cheap(plastic-y) and buggy. I was really looking forward to getting a shogun but now may hold off til NAB to see what other options come out, or if the shogun improves.
And yes, the sensitivity appears to have been changed somehow. I can tell by your video.
