iKeysToGo: Premiere Pro CS6 Shortcut App

I stumbled on this app yesterday when I needed to figure out the short cut for playing around an edit in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 . I have to admit I don’t know all the short cuts, and to make things worse I haven’t bought a new keyboard to replace my Final Cut Pro version yet. lame! I know.

This simple app is great, and for $0.99 it’s a steal. Its available at the appStore of course.

Features include:

  • A list of every Premiere CS6 command, keyboard shortcut, and definition
  • Organized alphabetically, and as Menus and Groups
  • Complete search capability of all Premiere commands
  • Definitions of every keyboard shortcut provides a quick learning tool
  • Create your own favorites list of commands and shortcuts for quick reference
  • Instructions on how to create new shortcut keys for any of the not unassigned shortcuts
  • A favorites screen. Love this! Even though mine is blank.

Diana Weynand (author of many books on video editing) and Shirley Craig of Revuptransmedia are the creators of iKeys to go.

  1. Looks like a great tool for those aiming to be faster editors when working with Adobe CS products.
I always used CS software as my main editing environment so I’m completely familiarized with shortcuts but I too use a CS keyboard because it’s much quicker to apply numerous actions without having to actually remember the key or combo. 🙂
