HyperThin HDMI Cables As Thin As iPhone Lightning Cable. Also Available in Micro to Mini

In my quest to get the perfect Micro to Mini HDMI cable to work without an adapter on the Odyssey 7Q+ I found these Hypershop HyperThin cables. Thanks to a twitter comment by Matthew Zappile that lead me to them.
These cables are incredibly thin and yes they work perfect with the 7Q+ in HD and UHD with the GH4 and A7s.
MINI HDMI TO MICRO HDMI

HyperThin is the world’s thinnest, most compact and flexible Mini HDMI to Micro HDMI cable capable of delivering the maximum high definition digital video and multi-channel digital audio performance from portable electronics. It fits easily in the smallest of pockets and flexibly connects in the tightest of spaces.

Color: Black
Length: 2.6 feet / 0.8 meters
Compatibility: Digital camera, camcorder or other digital devices with mini / micro HDMI connector

I see more of these in my future as I go through what seems like hundreds of HDMI cables I have bought over the last several years and they are priced reasonably well at $19.95. Not only are they really thin but the head on them are also nice and small making it more compact on the device. They also have a rubber feel to them. Not stiff at all. This will help take any strain away from the connector and the device it’s plugged into. I wish I could get longer ones but for now they only come in 2.6 feet / 0.8 meters lengths.

I’m thrilled! Yes. It’s the simple things in life that can make you very happy.

  1. I was just looking at these but ultimately went with the Paralinx Ultra Thin cables. They cost even less, and come in a lot of different lengths (12″ being the shortest). They are really thin!

  2. I was looking at the Sanho Hyperthin micro (D) to regular HDMI cables. I want to use these to hook my Sony a7s up to the pix-e5h for 4k recording. Do the cables support 4K output and recording? Thanks for your help.
